In 2017, the Business Efficiency Association (BEA) held the first competition “Business Efficiency Champion 2017”. The award celebrates the best entrepreneurs in manufacturing and service industries – the most active members of BEA who actively implement efficiency methods on a daily basis and promote the LEAN culture in Latvia.
The entrants were evaluated based on the results of the Efficiency Index Survey, the number of LEAN experts in the enterprise and the participation in experience sharing events organised by BEA and its members. To be short-listed, enterprises had to demonstrate sharing their achievements in business efficiency and challenging themselves with continuous improvement opportunities.
To continue a tradition, the Business Efficiency Champion’s Award was also presented in 2019. On this occasion, the focus will be on enterprises’ performance and contribution to the association and its members as well as a completed self-evaluation form provided by BEA.
In 2020 we have awarded the Business Efficiency Champions for the 4th time.
